Kanye West Designs Shoes For Louis Vuitton

Kanye West is now a sneaker designer! The musician teamed up with Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton to create a new line of men's and women's sneakers. There will be 5 styles with a quilted flap at the black heel so that you can tuck your pants into the shoe, like Kanye.



The shoes will be available in LV stores starting in June.

Louis Vuitton And Sprouse Collection

Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton has designed a limited edition collection honouring artist, Stephen Sprouse. The designs will feature Sprouse's signature graffiti and rose prints on typical LV handbags, clothing, and footwear.



Jacobs describes the collection as urban, neon, street wear. The new collection debuts next month. Check out the Louis Vuitton website for videos and more information on Stephen Sprouse.

Louis Vuitton & Comme Des Garcons Collaboration

Starting in the fall Louis Vuitton has taken their classic monogram totes and put a spin on it by teaming up with the Japanese fashion line Comme des Garcons. There will be a total of 6 limited edition bags that will be sold exclusively at the Louis Vuitton mini store inside the Comme des Garcons boutique in Tokyo, starting Sept. 4. The bags are going to be very creative and interesting like this sneak peak.....the eight armed Speedy.

The designer for Comme des Garcons, Rei Kawakubo, will be guest designing a men's and women's line for H&M starting in November of 2008.

Louis Vuitton "Monogramouflage" Collection

Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami have teamed together to create the "Monogramouflage" collection for Louis Vuitton. The collection was specially created for the Murakami exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum in New York.

Louis Vuitton's New Spring Ads

The luxury brand Louis Vuitton has released the first glimpses of its new spring ad campaign.

Featured in Women's Wear Daily, the new campaign is a far cry from the company's usual look. The bring colors and amped up vibe point to a more modern and vibrant Louis Vuitton brand.

I for one am happy that LV is branching out from the classic brown and tan canvas logo - while the prestige of owning the bags may be enough for some, it always seemed like a very mature and even older ladyish look. It's simply not my style. Hopefully, the spring collection will have lots of tempting goodies!
