Fabulous Miss Piggy

I have to confess that I LOVE Miss Piggy. She's stylish, strong and always feminine. So, it's fitting that she's finally come in to her own as a fashion icon -- the stylish swine is set to play the editor of Vogue in an upcoming Muppets movie.
Luvs it.

What's Hot Right Now: Sustainable Fashion

In an effort to help everyone save a buck or two, Style Cocktail has been posting sales and promos to help you get the most for your fashion dollars. While taking advantage of the discounted goodies is awesome, it may be even better to *gasp* stop shopping and take a look under the mounds of stuff in your closet to discover old pieces that can be made new again. All you have to do is switch up the accessories, shoes and bags to make every outfit look unique and stylin'.

Sage advice in these economic times, but one blogger has taken it one step further and made this concept a year-long project. She is setting out to wear the same dress for 365 days in an effort to prove sustainable fashion is possible, if you've got guts and a lot of flair.

In The Uniform Project, the same dress must be worn every day - only the accessories can change - and here's the real feat: everything is vintage or borrowed to further push the sustainable fashion envelope.

The blog provides a lot of style inspiration AND all contributions are going to the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that aims to revolutionize education in India.
