Ferragamo Creates Eco Friendly Bags

Salvatore Ferragamo has introduced a new line of handbags for the spring called Eco-Ferragamo. The environmentally friendly bags are dyed using tannins derived from tree bark, which results in metal free coloured leathers with no pollutants. The lining is handwoven hemp, and the bags are biodegradable and water resistant.

Look for these bags in Ferragamo stores starting in February. There will be a series of 5 bags from small hobo's to large maxi's. Eco-Ferragamo comes in Tobacco Brown, Lemon Yellow, and Grapefruit Pink.

Prices range from $1,190 to $1,890.
