Sunny Fong Wins Project Runway Canada

Sunny Fong, almost everyone's favorite competitor in Project Runway Canada Season 2 has officially won. The 32 year old Toronto native started off his career in film, attending Ryerson University. Sunny decided that film was not his passion and pursued his other interest, fashion. Sunny was always making his own costumes for his films in school, learning how to sew in highschool.

In 2004 Sunny Fong created VAWK a high end women's clothing line. Due to lack of funds to continue his business, Sunny had to put his label on hold. Almost ready to give up fashion for good, Sunny decided that his last hope was to win Project Runway Canada.

Sunny is back in business with his $100,000 win to start his own line....or continue in this case!

The collection that Sunny showed at Toronto Fashion Week was inspired by Alexander the Great. Even season 1 winner, Evan Biddell, comented that Sunny's collection was amazing and he couldn't believe he used all the elements together so perfectly. Biddell mentioned that he was glad Sunny was not competing against him!

Designed for Coco Rocha

Congratulations Sunny!
