Betsy Johnson Collection - NY Fashion Week 2008

Designer, Betsy Johnson, had her Beat Chick 30th Birthday Party for her fashion empire at New York Fashion Week. The models wore retro style clothes collecting the most extreme trends from past generations. The retro styles were shown to the beats of late 70's punk music, such as the Ramones and the Sex Pistols. The vibrant colours were matched creatively with belted halter dresses, animal print leggings and sweater dresses. The zing of the 80's are back, and Betsy is starting things off.

Betsy Johnson Designs Fall Outerwear

Fashion designer Betsy Johnson has just signed on with the Levy Group to design a fall collection of outerwear. The collection will include rain coats, down jackets, wool coats, and sporty coats. The style will look like the designers lower priced Betseyville bags with her signature leopard, rosebud, and lace print linings, as well as using her favorite colours of pink, turquoise, orange, black and white. Look for buttons in the shape of hearts and rosebuds as well as zippers with the same design.
The new line will be in department stores fall 2008.
